Never lose your rod again!

The Yakrods is an industry first with a retention system specifically designed for the kayakers. As kayak anglers ourselves, we’ve felt the heartache of watching our favorite rod slide overboard into the abyss. Quality fishing gear is an investment and we want to help you protect it.

To protect your investment, every order comes standard with our custom retention system. Included in this is our 4 ft. Quiet Tether and NTA endcap to ensure your rod never leaves your side.

Performance:

Our premium composite blanks are USA made and designed for superior performance. Left unsanded, they offer rugged durability but retain their tournament winning sensitivity. These rods are lightweight, strong, and extremely sensitive. They deliver just the right parabolic bend to keep your tournament-winning monster pegged at the side of your yak. We paired that with the award-winning Microwave Air guides for a truly powerful combo.

Balance:

Our unique retention system doubles as a counter-balance giving you all-day comfort without fatigue.

THE FEAST IS A BEAST

I think I have 4 of these, when I got the first one I was impressed. It was my favorite jig rod! Then I started throwing bigger swimbaits and never could find a rod I could throw all day long! Well when I got my second one I put a 6 inch magdraft on it and never looked back, the rod is perfect for that heavier bait and doesn’t wear your arm out throwing all day long!! Well I had to have another one so now it’s my favorite frogging rod as well!! They hit the jackpot with this rod easy to twitch and has a backbone with just the right amount of tip!!

Swing it

One of my favorite baits to cast is swing head jig and drag the bottom around wood and rock. This rod is awesome for that. It's also great for pitching into wood piles around the bank and for some dock flipping.

Feast is a Beast!

The Yakrods Feast flip and punch rod is a beast! This rod handles whatever you throw at it. Plenty capable of hauling giants from the jungle, you can trust this rod to put your PB in the yak!!!

Perfect Kayak Rod

I don't do a lot of pitching/punching here in the PNW so I had no clue what kind of rod to look for. Rod was highly recommended to me by some good friends whom I kayak fish with. We had a HUGE kayak tournament coming up and the conditions called for punching on one of my favorite lake. Got 1 solid day of practice pitching/punching on this rod and man! I'm no expert by any means but this rod got me hooked! I was punching with 1-1 1/2 Tungsten with 65lb braid and this thing handled like a dream. I had no problems yanking 1.5-3lbs largies out of really thick vegetation. Thanks to this rod, I was able to come out in 2nd place out of 67 anglers!
Love the design of the handle and the retention system for added security, especially kayak fishing.

Great Rod

I use this rod for so many things. But I bought it for my open water frog rod, and it is amazing for that. Very strong back bone. It's great for pulling those tanks out of the heavy pads and grass. This is a great punching rod as well. Very well balanced and light weight. I've even used this rod for Texas rigs and jigs when fishing in the thick stuff. I like that extra power for getting there heads turned an ripping them out of the cover. The win grip is amazing and sticky, even in wet conditions. One of my favorite rods.
